In order for us to set up a rent deferment agreement with you, please provide below the amounts you will be able to pay each month for the next 60 days. We are only doing agreements for 120 days maximum. Which means the first 60 days (April and May) are the months that the lowered rent payments are being made, then the following 60 days (June and July) are the regular rent payments (contractual rate) with the additional rent added that was not paid in April and May. Furthermore, you must provide proof in the form of documentation that your financial hardship is directly related to the impact of COVID-19. Acceptable documentation is an Unemployment Insurance claims number with your name listed and a letter from your employer outlining the reason why you are no longer employed. If self employed, a confirmation that you have filed for an SBA loan or other proof of relief you have applied for. 1). Nothing contained within this rent relief deferment agreement shall waive or modify any other lease obligation of tenant, which lease shall remain in full force and effect.
2) If tenant fails to perform any portion of this rent relief deferment agreement in a timely manner, such failure shall be deemed a breach of such agreement by tenant and shall result in an immediate acceleration of all amounts due under the rent relief deferment agreement and termination of such agreement.
3) This rent relief deferment agreement is a one-time only agreement, and shall not be extended or modified except by a subsequent written agreement between tenant and landlord.
